I am curious to know if the students have covered the walls with graffiti as tourists are won’t to do. Or are they proud of their heritage and are intent on preserving them?
Apart from the “Calass VIII”, I didn’t come across any graffiti. Since they were in class, I didn’t get to speak to them to find out what they thought about the paintings and their heritage. I just hope that they are taught about the frescoes as part of their local history lessons. Also, I hope that the few tourists who visit the town help the students appreciate the art around them.
